Jonny Labey is an actor, singer and dancer, best known for playing Paul Coker in BBC1’s flagship show EastEnders. He also starred in the film Soft Lad, for which he was nominated for a BIFA Award for Best Newcomer.
In February 2017, Jonny was a winning contestant on the hit ITV show Dance Dance Dance. Following his success on the show, Jonny was asked to become a judge on the hugely popular CBBC dance show Taking The Next Step, alongside Marlon Swoosh and Kimberly Wyatt.
Jonny trained at Doreen Bird College of Performance in London, and since graduating his theatre credits include the critically acclaimed UK premiere of In the Heights and the West End musical production of White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre as well as most recently playing the lead role Scott Hastings in the West End sensation Strictly Ballroom, based on the cult classic film directed by Baz Luhrmann. He has also produced and sold out Swingin In The Rain at the Jersey Opera House.
